Moving to the Hip Hub City

Aberdeen, the Hub City of the Dakotas was the place to locate to when Easterners looked to pioneer the West. The railroads were racing one another to blanket uncharted territory with a web of tracks and communities. If you build railroads, people will settle land. If you establish towns for the trains to stop in, you have a market for passengers

At least that’s what web developers want you to think. Granted, there is cause for alarm, and

Why is Google Calling Me?

Don’t succumb to the temptations and sales pitches of SEO companies. We’ve heard from several of our clients that they are constantly getting calls and emails from “Google” encouraging them to increase their Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and/or claim their business account. PLEASE NOTE; these calls are probably not coming from Google, but from third party companies using Google as

Not only has Stan built a number of highly reputable businesses, but he’s also prepared them for a new generation, rooted

How’s Your Logo?

Or better yet, how’s your brand? Your logo is a representation of what people think of your company. In other words, your brand. When you see the McDonalds arches you’re suppose to think “you’re lovin’ yummy food.” When you see Target logo (even without the word Target) you’re instantly reminded of how you perceive Target; good or bad. Cosmetic and Plastic Surgeons Find McQuillen Creative

It seems one of the most difficult things to promote is cosmetic surgery. It’s tricky because it’s not something people are ready to admit they want done or have had done. Getting people to respond to ads or commercials is therefore frustrating. The approach we’ve taken with plastic surgeons is to let them tell their own story in video. Each

Simple Commercial with Big Drama

Believe it or not, this simple commercial was shot with a crew of one. Oz Theme Continues for Aberdeen Promotion

If you’ve seen the Broadway sensation, Wicked, you probably remember how each Oz character came to be. Unfortunately, the production is 100% incorrect in relating how the Scarecrow and Tin Man came to be. The Tin Man was named Nick Chopper and he was a normal dude. He fell in love with a sorcerer’s daughter who disapproved of him. The

My talk was rather informal and related common sense

Graphic Props

For a recent bunch of commercials we found ourselves needing props and locations that didn’t exist. I wrote one commercial which called for two competing business that were located side by side. Helping Out Aberdeen’s Finest

This was one of the coolest projects I’ve had the privilege of designing. I was approached by the Aberdeen Police Department to design their new shoulder patch for their uniforms.
