American Lutheran ChurchAmerican Lutheran Church (ALC) in Sun City, Arizona contracted with McQuillen Creative Group (MCG) to build this church a new website from scratch. MCG was recommended to us by GSB Fundraising who helped us with our stewardship program. We went with MCG because they had experience working with churches and other ministry programs for the last couple of decades. Overall, the congregation, staff, and pastor are thrilled with the work they did. First, MCG are experts on building websites using the platform WordPress. Apparently, around 50% of all websites on the internet use that platform. That means others have created additional "plug-ins" to provide additional functions such as more videos, banners, etc. Second, MCG provided us with a 29-page document explaining what they would do before beginning any work. This document was helpful because when the church leadership asked what would be done they could hear AND see the specific details. Third, MCG are easy to work with. They will talk to you over the phone, Zoom, and respond quickly to emails. Plus, they are open to feedback while at the same time make professional recommendations to ensure your website is optimal. Fourth, they provide additional services such as video development, logo design, and search engine optimization (SEO). Plus, they have variety of monthly maintenance packages, which are very reasonable. The only "critique" is that they aren't in Phoenix, Arizona where ALC is located - they're in South Dakota. In many cases, when it comes to having contractors, it's important for them to be local. However, when it comes to web developers and the way technology is today, it's best to go with someone you trust, can work with, and is competent - that's MCG. Wherever you are located, just adjust to the time difference if that's an issue.
